RIVERGATE IS ELDER-LED
Rivergate is an apostolically and prophetically Elder-led community of Jesus lovers. We have a Lead Elder, considered a first among equals, but the spirit and function of eldership is held by all of the Elders.
Elders provide oversight by establishing, living, and spreading the mission, vision, and values among the Rivergate community and doing what we can to ensure that all ministries and activities personify them. In this way, we create and steward Rivergate culture.
There are currently two support teams that serve as arms, or branches, of the Elder team: The Watchmen and The Board of Directors. The Elders, Watchmen, and Board all comprise what is called the “Collective Council.” All major decisions, constitutional changes, and other critical components of RG life are processed among the Collective Council as a whole.

CHRIS & ALEX LIOTTA
(Point Leaders)
Chris and Alex and their children came to Rivergate Church in February of 2011. They walk and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit and pursue a life filled with the Father's loving presence. They have faithfully served the Lord in vocational church ministry for more than 20 years and continue to pursue God and serve the body of Christ as unabashed carriers of His loving presence. The Liottas have an unusual level of skill and zeal for helping couples develop flourishing marriages and families.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors serves Rivergate partners, ministries, and mission as directed by the Elders, through the faithful stewardship of Rivergate's assets. This includes managing resources with a firm reliance on the Holy Spirit’s leading and with wholeness found by operating in faith and wisdom.
Matt Brown, Chris Liotta, Courtney Cannon, Don Montgomery, Nancy Eaker, and Carrie Silva currently serve on the board.
Watchmen
The Watchmen serve by processing ideas, insights, plans, dreams, or whatever else is needed through a prophetic and prayerful gift and lens. They are lead intercessors, taking the needs of Rivergate to the throne, performing prophetic acts, and engaging in conquering prayer on our behalf.
The Watchmen team includes Nancy Eaker, Shane Cannon, Kim Johnson, Patsy Chmelar, and Beth Montgomery.
